CAT test is taken by students who wish to pursue MBA form India.CAT scores are accepted by all the IIMs and other B-schools in India.
To prepare well for this test you can start the preparation at least 1 year in advance of your planned admission year.
You can join some good coaching institutes which offers quality CAT test preparation classes, these institutes offers regular classes, weekend classes and crash courses, based on your requirement you can enrol for any one of these courses.

As per your query, you can set a proper learning plan for the test. Equal importance must be given for all subjects. Revision should be done frequently for attaining better result. It is advisable to go for mock tests regularly. This will help one to find out the mistakes. It is good to go through the last year question papers.

To become an astronaut you have to get these basic requirements :

Hi Kaustav, Guwahati Medical College is affiliated by Guwahati University. The degree offered by this university is recognized by Medical Council of India. The selection is based on entrance test conducted by All India and State level selection bodies.
As for the marks, I would say that it would be tough to quote a specific number as it varies every year. So, it would be advisable to visit their official website and click on 'Courses' icon for details regarding admission procedure, seats, etc.
