Yes, It is compulsary. The cost is 1,50,000. But it might be less too depending to the arrangements made by the tour operators. If its more than that, the student will have to bear the cost. The amount is taken as part payment with the tution fees.

It totally depends on candidate. If you are capable enough to pay fee for an extra year then you should opt for top ranked college. But here is a catch that how would you compare a bright student from low ranked college with an average or below from top ranked college. Going to top ranked college will only ensure that you will get more number of opportunities in comparison to low ranked college.
