You can do BBA through distance learning programme. And to enroll you just have to visit your nearest study center of the university. You can opt for any only from SMU, PTU, MDU. But I'll suggest you that you should only go for regular one only because that's the one which will give you a secure and good career throughout your life.

Regarding placements I would suggest you to contact the admission department of the institute and request them to provide you the past placements records.
However you must consider the below mentioned points while selecting the B-school:

From the point of an HR I can say,
a company is in need of "Right person"
having Right knowledge and Right skill with Right qualification to sustain in the most competitive market.
But the problem starts when this "RIGHT" is different from individual to individual.
Some may consider individual skill, knowledge etc. as primary objective and wont be bothered of candidates mode of learning but few others consider the mode of learning too.

Dear Mamta, you should have re-framed your question as "Which subject will be more suitable according to my education and work profile?" Nevertheless, you need to tell your graduation subjects as well. As far as career as lecturer is concerned, obviously you are referring to a B-school. In that regard your decision to pursue Ph.D is absolutely right. As you would know any subject based on your interest, aptitude and background can be taken and there is no particular suitability criteria. Your equivalence of diploma is not acceptable for pursuing any post degree like MBA. The eligibility for MBA is graduation in any stream from government recognized university/college with minimum 50% marks. Now whether you do it as regular, private or distance education mode, is not of importance. You also remember that unless you do MBA/PGDM from a good B-school as regular candidate, it will not give you much benefit after you complete your engagement with IN.
