You have the option of doing either the engineering degree or post diploma courses in field you may choose to specialize. The choice of course, institute and location will determine the fee involved.
A 3 year recognized Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will make you eligible for the posts of supervisor and technician at public and private sector firms. Opportunities do exist abroad as well. Students appear for different Engineering Entrance Exams like:

I would have opted for NSIT had I wanted to pursue Computer Science Engineering. However, I still want you to look through the career site of DTU and see the reviews of the students already pursuing this programme. The idea is to do a lot of research before we associate ourselves with an institute.

Since you are not liking your job in HDFC Bank, you must go for higher education. After B.Com MBA remains as the most sought career. You can specialize in various streams like Marketing, HR, Operations, Entrepreneurship etc.
Safety Management course is only available as a certificate course.
