Internship:
After completing the classroom courses, you will have to do a mandatory internship as per the norms set by the specific institution.
Enrolment with State Bar Council:
The final step to becoming a lawyer is to enrol yourself as an advocate in any of the state bar councils regulated by the Advocates Act 1961. The State Bar Councils do not have a uniform process of registration. After registration, you must clearAll India Bar Examination (AIBE). The exam is conducted by Bar Council of India, and once you clear it, you get a certificate of practice. The test assesses your basic analytical capabilities and your knowledge of the law. After completing LLB, you can either choose to start practising, or you can continue with studies. You can opt for an LLM course to get in-depth knowledge in your area of interest. Difference between a Lawyer and an Advocate
We often use the terms lawyer and advocate interchangeably, however, there is a difference between the two. After completing your LLB course, you become a lawyer. However, you are still not an advocate. To become an advocate, you will have to enrol yourself with any State Bar Council and clear the India Bar Examination (AIBE)as explained above.

Hello Reshim. First of all just relax your mind. Just ask your soul that if you appear in JEE Advanced will you be able to achieve a good rank which is sufficient for you to get into a good IIT. If the answer comes that yes I will definitely crack JEE Advanced then please go for advance and leave behind Thapar because it is more valuable then Thapar University. If you are getting a doubt that I will not be able to clear JEE Advanced for I will not be able to secure a good rank to get into IIT then and go for Thapar but simultaneously prepare for your JEE Advanced exam also. I am sure that counselling process for admission will not Hinder your JEE Advanced test and the these two dates will be separated from a great margin so there is no chance forgetting counselling at Thapar and giving your JEE Advanced at the same time. The university offers 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
At the undergraduate level, the university offers two medical courses: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Duration of the MBBS programme is 5.5 years while the duration of the BDS programme is five years. The university preserves 150 and 100 seats for MBBS and BDS program respectively.
Candidates willing to apply for both of the program need to have passed 10+2 level with minimum of 50% aggregate in the Science stream.
Candidates seeking admission in MBBS and BDS program have to appear in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the CBSE as per the norms of Supreme court.
