Hi Sunil, you can only get a merit seat through scheduled caste reservations if you have appeared in the entrance exam. Without appearing in the entrance, you cannot get any seat in JNUTK. As you have appeared in AIPCET, then it will depend on the ranks which you will get after results declaration.
Best of luck.

Hi Anitha,
NGE is non-general category means you will get reservation through this category. However, you will not get any reservation in general category. As your CUSAT rank is 1470, you can easily get admission through general category itself in your favorite branch. If you are not from general category, you should bring your category certificates to get reservations benefits.

NIFT entrance exam pattern is three-tiered in its format for B.Des and M.Des course admissions. As part of the NIFT entrance exam 2019, candidates need to first appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT) which is followed by a General Ability Test (GAT). The final admission round for BDes course is a Situation Test and that for MDes is GD/PI round. On the other hand, for BFTech course admissions candidates need to appear for GAT only whereas for MFTech and MFM programmes candidates need to appear for GAT and GD/PI admission round.
