To be eligible, one must pass with at least 50% marks in 10 + 2 (or an equivalent examination) with biology or biotechnology as one of the subjects.

You see always IITs are in top, then followed by NITs. So, In order to get admission in IITs you need to write JEE Mains + JEE Advanced to get admission. If it's NITs you just need to appear for JEE Mains. After clearing and getting a good rank in those entrance tests you can select the best IIT or NIT based on your eligibility and interest.

Well, CUSAT is a very prominent institute, with a very good reputed. It was also ranked very well on the rankings released by the Ministry of human resources department. Placement are also relatively good in the institution. I would say it's worth a shot.

Their campus at Kochi is not at all comparable to the ones in North India. The campus is very small and college life is not that great. But, they do offer similar levels of placement that you would get at any amity university colleges.

You will get a scholarship only if you take admission in any graduation course. You will be given post matric scholarship from your State and Central government. You can apply for the same through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
