Late night studies are quieter and more peaceful but do mind that the brain is the most active in the morning, allowing higher retention power.

It seems better to study at night but as a pass out I have realised that studying in the morning is much more fruitful.

Rishi, there are many courses that you can opt for after 12th. B.Tech and MBBS are all time favorites but then life doesn't stop here only. You have various other good options available.
If you are interested in pursuing a course in science you can go for various B.Sc like physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, maths, etc. Other than these, you have specialised ones like biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, forensic, agriculture, food technology, computer science, etc. Apart from these, you have honors courses too. It is certainly possible for some branches, but if you were eyeing something like Psychology, Literature or Sociology, it might get a bit tricky for you.
As mentioned before, uncommon streams like Microbiology or Botany should be an easy pick.

Remember, any course in SASTRA will fetch you a job in any one of the IT companies at the end of your four years. So, don't restrict yourself to one particular course and be open to any B.Tech course. I have seen people with high marks often choose electronics, experience its wrath and eventually get placed in an IT company. Also, people with lesser marks choosing a lot cooler course to get into an IT company. So, my only suggestion is to be happy with any course you get here. Yes, you will get any desired course that you wanted

Medical science is another similar stream that has often been written off as far as IAS Examination is concerned. This is primarily due to after attaining a professional degree, not many candidates are looking to join the bureaucracy. But just like physical science subjects, the number of aspirants and successful candidates with a medical science background is on the rise.
