I would like to advise you for the same that it is good option to choose MBA in Travel and Tourism Mgt. However on the other end would like to inform you that these are Practical Industries and demands your practical indulgence into it. I guess now its the time to get started into the Industry rather then spending 2-3 years more into PG programme. No harm in doing that however its not a mandate requirement to do for getting a Job. Hi Lydia. OPENMAT is a national level entrance exam for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses offered at School of Management Studies, IGNOU. OPENMAT exam is conducted twice a year I. e. in July and January. OPENMAT scores of one session are valid for one year I. e. If the exam is held in July then the same score can be used for January and July (the following year) and, likewise, OPENMAT exam held in January-February can be used for July and January next year. Candidates can opt for admission in any of the cycle as per the score validity. OPENMAT admission cycle is as under:
OPENMAT XLVI (July 2019) will be valid for admission either in January 2020 or July 2020
OPENMAT XLVII (January 2020) will be valid for admission either in July 2020 or January 2021
