NIFT Srinagar offers the BDes and the MFM programme at the UG and PG course levels respectively. The eligibility criteria for the courses are as follows: 

BDes: Candidates must have cleared Class 12 and cleared the NIFTEE cutoff. 

MFM: Candidate must have completed their UG from a recognised university. 

Candidates who meet the above mentioned criteria can apply to the courses through the application form.

Candidates are required to follow the steps given below to get admission to NIFT Srinagar: 
1. Candidates must take the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be admitted to NIFT Srinagar.
2. Candidates must fulfill the prerequisites for the course for which they are applying.

3. Candidates are invited to the interview rounds based on how well they performed in the admission exam.
4. After that, candidates must sign up for NIFT Srinagar's counseling program.

For both the BDes and MFM programs offered by NIFT Srinagar, admissions are entrance based. 

Students are admitted to NIFT Srinagar based on entrance exams and other admissions rounds.
Step 1: The NIFT entrance exam, popularly known as the "written test," is the first requirement for applicants.

Step 2: Those that advanced from the first round undergo the scene test. The final shortlist is made by looking at the results of both phases.

Candidates from the general category must pay INR 2,000, while those in the reserved category must pay INR 1,000. Candidates must follow the instructions provided by the institute in order to complete the online application form. Only applicants who have completed the application form will be taken into consideration for course admission. Once the appliation fee is paid, candidates can download the application form to keep for future reference.

The process for applying to classes at NIFT Srinagar is as follows: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT.

Step 2: Access the latest application form to get admitted to the 2025–2026 session.  

Step 3: Finish the entrance exam application form. This is required in order to be accepted into the MFM or BDes programs.

If you're a PCB student and want to pursue B.Tech in CSE, it's usually not possible through regular admission since Maths is a required subject. However, some private universities offer a B.Tech (lateral or integrated route) or BCA with a strong CSE focus.
