Hi Danbeer,
You cannot take admission in IITs after completing polytechnic as you will need to require to attempt for JEE Mains exam. You can only sit for JEE exam after completing class 12th. So, I am afraid you can only have a chance to get into IITs for Masters after completing B.Tech through lateral entry admission.
All the best.

Hi Sunil,
Your SSC marks are very low. There are almost no chances of you getting an IIM call. Plus given your HSC, SSC scores, it would be very tough for you to cope up with studies in IIMs. I would recommend that you start looking at other colleges where you can get admission.

Amity has a very good campus. People think what is the benefit of campus but go and ask people studying in small private colleges. They get irritated spending 4 years in one building. You have 60 acres Noida campus (I have heard it has expanded now) to roam. Placement might not be 100% but the reason is mostly that of the irresponsible behavior of students. I guess, there are 100s of company visiting the campus every year. The problem will be there on university end if nobody if getting placed but if 2000 student got placed and you are not getting placed that's a problem on your side.

Yes, but last year it was JoSAA which was completed first. After that WBJEE counselling occurred by which one can take admission into JU. JU is a very good university. Placement is also very good. But not like IIT. But one preference in JU is that it takes much less money from you than any IIT.

Hello Akash,
To get a call from IIMs, your board exam marks or Bachelor's degree score is not important. But you need to have at least 50-60% in the Bachelor's degree.
You need to have a good percentile in CAT (Common Admission Test) exam. For top IIMs, your percentile should be atleast 90 and above.
Your profile also plays a major role.
