The question is quite general. There are many different type of questions asked in an IIM interview. I would try to bucket and cover them all but it won't be exhaustive.
1) Academics :
You should be thorough with your undergrad education. Pick 3 to 5 courses and prepare them inside out. It's absolutely necessary for freshers and even for people with work-ex althought the chances are less. Academics depicts your interset in education and if you fail to answer the questions asked by the panel, it would bring negative points to you. Typical questions include

It is recommended that you may prefer MBA in USA, UK, Singapore, Australia universities over German universities. I will advice you to do MBA in English language for better learning and increase chances of job in English speaking countries unless you are proficient in German language.
