Aah, you have brought in a very interesting subject, sychology and psychiatry. Former is arts or Science sub whereas latter is in medical realm. There is of course a relationship but it's etheral. Psychologists analyse psyche of a person and recommend some behavioral changes. On the other hand psychiatrists treat one's brain by giving meds. Every year Government of India or state governments release notification for recruitment of police officers through examination and for this, the eligibility maybe 10+2 or graduation, it depends on the recruitment board.
