National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a gateway test in our country to start career as Lecturers or Assistant Professors in various Colleges, Universities and other Educational Institutions. The minimum age to hold a Commercial Pilot License is 18 years. And for Private Pilot License it is 16 Years.
Hence you may enrol now and by the time you complete all requirements for issue of CPL you'll turn 18. So that's perfectly fine to do so.
Many candidates who are underage do this.
The minimum eligibility for application for CPL is 10+2 (PCM) with 50% marks.
This is what you should justify at the time of application otherwise the age of 17 is not an issue.
