It's indeed heartening to know your interest in pursuing a career in linguistics. But you have not mentioned your intended university.
Entrance exam papers for previous years are invariably available with coaching classes for this exam. They will have ideal answers too. If you are serious in this, then my advice would be to join one of the coaching classes.

Must have completed graduation in case for opting MJMC (noe compartments, reappears or backlog).
* as most of the colleges do not give admission as per UGC rules.
It does not require any journalism background for opting BJMC or MJMC but for M.Phil and PhD.

The basic required marks in 12th are 50% for admission in here. But, then you need to appear for the personal interview conducted by the institute.
