Dear Mandar, yes you can join regular mode too with Distance Education program if your degree is valid and recognized.
There is no problem of joining regular mode after distance learning degree.
rule is that you should have graduate degree from recognized university. No specific condition is there for Post graduation admission like only regular mode degree or Distance through Distance not allowed etc.

Dear harish, if you have completed you B.tech through Distance Mode then there is no value of your degree as BE./B.tech through Distance mode from any instituition or university Except professional bodies like AMIE/IETE/IME etc. is not recognised in India.
And CMJ is already a black listed University now.

As per your query it seems that you wish to pursue masters degree from universities in Australia.
So regarding this please remember in order to pursue masters degree from universities in Australia, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take IELTS or TOEFL test to prove your english language proficiency.

Pursuing MCA is logical and relevant to your field of study. The choice also depends on your interests - being on the technical side or move into the management side after gaining technical experience. If the answer is technical, then go in for MCA.
