You are studying a course that would prepare you for a career in Data Science (Big Data). So, you should be learning Excel, D3 (JavaScript), SAS, SPSS, SQL, Python and particularly R. First, a get good knowledge of these software packages and programming languages. After few years of experience, you can think about doing MBA. This is the best advice I can give you.

Eligibility criteria for the post-Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Diploma course is an HSC pass certificate. You are eligible to seek admission in Diploma course from a Polytechnic. Legally it is permissible to do Diploma and degree simultaneously. You can not pursue two degrees simultaneously from same or different universities. You are advised to evaluate whether you can handle simultaneous studies load of two courses and challenges in case of conflicts in time table, examinations etc.

Hi Jagadeesh, you are advised to check the UGC website for a list of approved distance education universities in India, if it is approved by UGC you have little to worry but also it will depend on the college or university you are applying to.
