DAAD recommended process for seeking admission in German Universities for MS is as follows:
Step 1: October-November
(a)Collect general information from the DAAD, internet and brochures.
(b)Attend information sessions at the DAAD closer to you! We have our offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune .
Or attend internet-based seminars (webinars) organized by the DAAD.
Step 2: January - March
(a)Contact the selected university. This will be your most important source of information as far as exact details about eligibility, course duration, fee, application procedure etc. are concerned.
(b)Check the application deadline for courses chosen!
Step 3: March - June
(a)Send the application packet.
Make sure you have a valid passport!
Step4: July
(a)Apply for a student visa as soon as you have the admission letter, as the procedure can take around two months. The German Embassy and the Consulates require proof of funding for the first year of studies. To find out where you should apply for a visa, the website of the German Embassy in your country.
(b)Apply for a place in a hostel.
Step 5 September - October
(a)Arrive in Germany at least a week before your course begins.
(b)Contact the International Office of university for guidance.

Eligibility for Masters in Physiotherapy:
Indian nationals can apply under the General category. Foreign nationals or Non- Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/ NRI Category.
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, candidates aspiring for the course need to be qualified in BPT from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
Additionally, they are needed to have completed a 1- year compulsory rotating internship or complete it before April 30 of the relevant academic year. Aspirants need to have attained the Bachelor of Physiotherapy qualification in a full-time, in-campus BPT course from an institution recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
Candidates currently pursuing their BPT internships are also eligible to apply, but their admission to the program is subject to the timely completion of the internship.
Masters in Physiotherapy: Admission Process
The admission is purely based on merit obtained in the common entrance examination conducted by institutes offering the course- both MS and MDS programs. Candidates qualifying the written examination are called for rounds of counseling and interview.
Selection of applicants is based on educational qualification, marks obtained in university exams/ any PG entrance exams, work experience, and performance in rounds of personal interview and group discussion.
Often, scholarships for the pursuance of MPT are awarded to deserving and meritorious candidates, subject to availability of funds.
