Well at one end, PDMS is a customizable, multi-user and multi-discipline, engineer controlled design software package for engineering, design and construction projects in offshore and onshore oil & gas industry, chemical & process plants, mining, pharmaceutical & food industry, power generation and paper industries and on the other PDS is software provided by Intergraph Corporation for laying out and designing industrial plants such as oil refineries, power stations, mine processing plants, smelters, offshore platforms, FPSO's and more. PDS is mainly used as enterprise software.
Observing both, there is microscopic difference between the two and since you already coming from the same background another certification in the core field would certainly add an advantage to your career by getting you a progressive edge in terms of excellent remuneration and reputed designation as well.

Hi Prasad, the Oracle Database is an object-relational database management system produced and marketed by Oracle Corporation. Oracle has a very good scope in India as well as in any country. But just knowing oracle is not enough. I would suggest you to go through some training with some good institute, then take a job in oracle field.

As for the difference between Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g, they are more based on implementation. In terms of architecture, 9i is based on Internet technology while 10g is grid computing based one. For developers, 10g is more stable than 9i. Performance wise, it was more impressive. It increased the data chunk size during I/O between the SQL and PL/SQL engines.
After completion of the training, you can go for Oracle Certification that would help you in a big way in the upcoming future.

In order to secure admission to first year of three-year part time MMS course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
· Passed in any full time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities
OR
· Passed Graduate Examination in Industrial Engineering, Mumbai and who have subsequently qualified in the GATE examination conducted by IITs
AND
