Dear Drishti, That is a very valid question and I can see you already possess good business acumen. JGBS is a relatively new business school with only 3 MBA batches graduating so far. With every batch we are not only increasing average salary but also the maximum salary. Last year's avg and max salary were 5 and 11.5 lakh resp which improved to 6.5 and 13 lakhs this year. We get the same companies for campus placement as other top business schools and as our graduates make mark in these companies, JGBS' brand value is increasing year on year.
Even looking at the current facts, Tuition fees of 11 lakhs and avg salary of 6.5 = means a 2 year period for ROI. This is still a very good proposition. And if you are ambitious then you can easily get salaries higher than the average.

Yatin, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you may go for BCA. However, you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are lregistered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. Wish you the best for your career.
