Many AICTE online courses are offered for free, especially on platforms like SWAYAM and NPTEL. However, some courses may require a nominal fee for certification. You would need to pay for courses that provide additional learning materials or conduct exams, ensuring learners can receive a certificate upon successful completion. The courses will remain accessible for self-paced learning without any charge (do check before enrolling).

Yes, it is possible to study abroad even with a low CGPA but you need to improve other factors of eligibility such as SOP, LOR, and standardized test scores (like IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE).  Other than this, work experience and internship experience can increase the value of your application.  Note that, the CGPA score is just a factor which can be balanced with good performance in other factors.

A good CGPA score depends on the university or country you have chosen. To apply in top universities of the world, you need to score higher than a 9.5 CGPA. On the other hand, some universities abroad offer admission to Indian students with a 4.0 CGPA.

Factor 9.5 is used because it represents statistical average of the highest performance band. Since a Grade Point of 10 covers marks from 91% to 100%, 9.5 converts a perfect 10 CGPA to a statistically accurate 95%, not an inflated 100%

You can easily convert CGPA into marks by using steps mentioned below:

  • Multiply your score in CGPA by 9.5 to get a percentage score.
  • Divide the percentage score by 100.
  • Then multiply the result by the total full marks.
  • Now, you get the full marks by converting CGPA.

One line formula to convert CGPA to full marks: Full Marks= CGPA*9.5*Full Marks/100

The formula to calculate Percentage from SGPA is  (SGPA *10)-7.5. Students can use this formula if they know their SGPA marks. Else, they need to calculate their SGPA score first.

For example, if your SGPA is 8.5, then the calculation would be: (8.5 * 10) - 7.5 = 85 - 7.5 = 77.5%

To convert the full marks from SGPA to percentage, you need to follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Multiply SGPA marks by 10.
  • Step 2: Subtract 7.5 from the result.
  • Step 3: The result you get after subtracting 7.5 is the SGPA score converted into a percentage.

For example: Convert 7.5 SGPA to percentage is 67.5%

  • Step1: 7.5*10= 75
  • Step 2: 75-7.5= 67.5%
