Until 2015, it was possible to take direct admission in most of the private engineering colleges in India without appearing for any entrance examination. However 2016 onwards, Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has made it mandatory to have a valid score in the respective entrance examination for every student, regardless of whether you take admission via counseling or direct admission.
If a student doesn't have a valid score in the respective entrance examination, the corresponding university will not accept the registration of the student, thereby cancelling his/ her admission. So, beware of those fraud agen
