India produces almost 1.5 million engineers every year. Last nine years show that the entry level salary is very low for engineers. Most of the engineers don't have the required skill sets, they just happened to do engineering maybe because of pressure or as an unsure move. However, engineering is a technical degree, if you sit for government services you might be preferred or may have a specific quotas. There is always something positive in every aspect, one should never give up. Maybe, they didn't become a successful engineer, but it doesn't mean they can't become a successful person in the long run.

It's a long break I must say. You can opt for any course that you think can work for you. You really need to think and decide whether you want to do a specialisation course related to medicine only or want a change of career, like MBA or administrative field!
If you wish to continue to the same field, this link will help you decide better- https://www.shiksha.com/medicine-health-sciences/articles/what-after-mbbs-md-or-ms-blogId-6396.

Hello Aditya
You will have to take readmission in 12th. Also, you may require to submit an application stating your the highest degree, because institutes ask for this, if you let them know that you have done 12th already. Thank you.
