It will be wise to choose the institute and course after your 12th grades are out. Admissions in these institutes are based mostly on the marks you secure in 12th and the Joint Entrance Examination scores. Target both the institutes, work hard on your academics and prepare for the JEE simultaneously. The course you choose must be as per your choice. If you are interested in computers a degree in computer science and engineering will be good. You may also pursue the Dual Degree Bachelor-cum-Master of Technology program from IIT. Look at the previous cut off scores and start preparing as this is a crucial time. All the best.

It is hard to say. There are various specializations - some quite traditional while some are new. You will also see new specializations being introduced going with the current economy and market trends. For example MBA in AgriBusiness, MBA in Business Sustainabilty, MBA in Climate Change and Policy, MBA in Rural Management and Infrastructure are few of the uncommon specializations yet in demand. Hope that helped.
