For being eligible to apply for MCA, you have to have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you fulfill these criteria you are eligible for MCA.
As far as other information regarding MCA is concerned, we would like to state that most of the entrance tests are conducted in April or May. Notifications are out in January or February. The combined MCA entrance tests held in India are: NIMCET for NITs, CET Maharashtra for Maharashtra colleges, UPMCAT for most colleges in UP, Andhra Pradesh CET for Colleges in AP,Orissa State MCA Test for all Colleges in Orissa, MET for All college under Punjabi Univ. GNDU, & PTU in Punjab, MP-Pre MCA Test for all colleges in MP, Kerala MCA Test for all colleges in Kerala.
The most reputed universities and colleges offering MCA degree in India are: Delhi University, Pune University, Jawahar Lal Nehru university, New Delhi, IIT Roorkee, NIT Trichy, VJTI, Mumbai, Banaras Hindu University, MNNIT Allahabad, ICSE Indore, Thapar University. Other colleges offering MCA are NITs, Vellore Institute, PSG Coimbatore, Hyderabad Central University, BITS Mesra, Jalgaon University, and Punjab University etc.

There are various career options available these days. However, I would recommend that you first concentrate on your 11th standard as it is very crucial in setting up a firm foundation. Before you decide what to do, it is important that you become aware of a critical factor for success in your chosen profession. Your exam scores are one part of it considering how competitive it is to land a seat in the hallowed campuses of the IITs and other prestigious institutions.
With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology). Apart from doing the degree level courses you can also choose degree courses, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management etc. you can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, industrial design, packaging, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses and a host of post 10 + 2 level vocational courses. To get admission in the top medical college in India you would need to score above 90% in 12th and do very well in entrance exam.
After MBBS, doctors may prepare for work in general practice in Government or private hospitals or they may choose to specialize. More than 70% of all MBBS graduates try for postgraduate qualifications, rather than going in for a job or private practice. At the post graduate level, there is specialisation in Medicine and Surgery. Career opportunities also exist in medical services of the army, navy and air force, under the Ministry of Defense or in charitable institutions. Some candidates after post graduation, also opt to serve in medical colleges and training institutes as teachers or in research institutes and medical colleges as researchers. Many go for private practice/ self employment.You can also opt for Medical Underwriting. Other career options can be found in the field of hospital administration and medical transcription. Hospital management is yet another option you could try getting into by doing a MHA course. Recently there has been a trend to opt for MBA rather than MHA.
