Hello Arpita, First of all yes it may increase your chances to get a call from IIMs but it also depends on how well your personal interview was. Sometimes even after scoring well in CAT many students fail to prepare well for their interview before they gets selected in IIM. They have very tough interview rounds and it takes a lot of practice and confidence to crack such interviews. You can see videos of interview preparations for CAT interviews. It may give you a brief idea about it.

Hello Jerald Maths is optional for B.Com. So many students are doing it already.
You can easily get through b.com without maths. Integration, Differentiation, Trigonometry, etc. to be studied in maths are nowhere used in B.com. You simply have to study accounting principles and finance terms.
Thank you.

Hello Bhawana,
First and foremost, do not worry. Almost all the entrance exams are quite simple in nature and easy to clear. As you are desirous of appearing for entrance for M.Sc, the syllabus will be of B.Sc, which you have already studied and passed. You are aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Just brush up on strong topics and study in detail on weak topics. Try to appear for and give mock tests, if possible. However, have a timetable to study all the topics covered in the syllabus. I am sure you will pass with flying colours.

Clearing entrance exam should not introduce any stress. Relax. The syllabus would be of B.Sc. level which you are already studying. Just make a timetable of studies with slots for entertainment, exercise and your fav past-time. Stick to it. Try to give mock tests and that's all. Best wishes to you.

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in specific / Technical / research / academics area then M.Sc is better. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.
