The eligibility criteria for getting admission into NIT Rourkela or into any of the NITs is For General candidates to qualify for admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. Other than that according to the past records, the JEE rank for Electronics engineering 7000-8000. So there is a good opportunity for you to get admission in the your preferred branch. You can get admission in NIT Rour

Basically, all are equally good but there are some NITs which are new so you cannot get good infrastructure. But faculty members are good.
