The CMAT exam has no age restriction for participation. Anyone from any field, at any stage of their career, including recent graduates and working professionals, is eligible to take the CMAT. But the applicant ought to have finished their degree. Full-time or correspondence learning are also acceptable modes of instruction, however the institution must be connected to the UGC. The candidate must be at least 20 years old when taking the CMAT exam, as a graduation degree is often finished by the time an individual reaches that age. Thus, it is true that there is a minimum age requirement for taking the CMAT, but not a maximum age limit. However, there is a minimum score requirement at CMAT accepting colleges for admission. All the UGC and AICTE approved institutions have the minimum score requirement of 45 per cent in aggregate in graduation for candidates for Scheduled Caster/ Scheduled Tribe and Person with Disability categories. Thus, you must ensure that you have an aggregate score of at least 45 per cent in your graduation to be able to get admission into a full-time MBA programme at a government recognised institution.

Male candidates in the General category must pay an application fee of INR 2,000 for the CMAT. The cost for female candidates is INR 1,000. The application fees are INR 1,000 for male candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and INR 1,000 for female candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and transgender candidates. The CMAT application fee is INR 1,000 for candidates who fall under the Persons with Disability category as well. Only online payments using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or UPI wallets are accepted for the fee. When submitting the application form, the fee must be paid. The application form will not be submitted until the fee has been successfully paid. The CMAT charge is nontransferable and nonrefundable.

• Open the official website of CMAT Examination. 

• Fill all the mandatory details like your name, email id and date of birth online to register for CMAT Examination.

• You must have recieved an OTP via email, complete your registration process with verifying through the same OTP or email verification.

• Browse through the website and find the CMAT application form, fill it with all the required details. 

• Complete all the details along with the scanned documents and signatures required .

• You will be led to payment page, make the payment and wait to receive the sms for successful registration of the candidate along with the application number.
