The college does not have a hostel service in the campus premises as it is an off campus college. There are PGs near by where the students can stay, the expense for PGs would depend on the types of rooms you take. On an average the cost would be around Rs. 6,500 around Shahdara and can vary depending on the location. Do check for PGs in person and only then decide, for campus facilities hostel you would have to visit the on- campus hostels which are around 25 minutes away from Shyam Lal College.

Along with NIFT 2024 admit card, you must bring with you a valid photo ID proof. The photo ID proof can be any of the following documents Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, School or College ID Card or Voter ID. Candidates who fail to bring the mandatory documents will not be allowed to take the exam. Note that the candidate is also recommended to carefully go through the guidelines mentioned on the NIFT 2024 admit card. This will help the candidate stay out of trouble on exam day. Yes, there are seat reservations for various categories SC, ST, PWD, OBC, Kashmir Migrant and other sub groups that have seats reserved according to the reservation policies. For specific courses the seats reserved are mentioned on the college website where you can check the same. There are seats for students with sports quota as well, all of this is mentioned on the website. It is best to contact the college directly or check their website for any information on seat reservations or admission procedures.

The fees structure changes depending on the course and the category you study in. For B.A. Prog and B.A. (Hons), the annual fees is:-
General- Rs. 20,000/-
Late fees will be applicable depending on when you gave your fees and completing your dues from the college is necessary as without that you wouldn't be able to give thr exams. Examination fees though is different which is charged each semester by the authorities of DU.

The admit card for the NIFT 2024 exam has to be downloaded online from the NTA NIFT admission portal - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. In.

Note that hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the candidate.

So, the candidate needs to log-in to the admit card download portal using their log-in details and download the admit card pdf. After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to take a printout. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to display the admit card along with a valid photo id proof in the original. Pursuing two programs at the same time is always difficult and there are different eligibility criteria for all the courses. There are certain courses you can do simultaneously like the additional language courses which are offered by the CHD department of the college. Other than that, there are other limited courses which can be better told by the administration department of the college or you can check out the DU guidelines for the two programs you wish to pursue.

The college does not have a mess but it does have a canteen. The food is of good quality and the taste is also good. The prices for everything varies from about Rs 30 for chinese food to Rs.70 for Veg Thali. You can also get chips, kulfi, soft drinks and other packed food in the canteen.
