Before falling for huge packages find out what is the take-home salary. Such huge packages are in the form of CTC i.e. cost to company and therefore does not show the real salary that you carry home. That is much less than the CTC.

Hi Maudood, yes you can apply for a Bachelors study in UK. Either you can apply through UCAS for BEng courses or you take take admission through groups like Kaplan international college, NAVITAS and INTO group.
In the UK, UG engineering programs are of 3 years in duration. Courses commence in September and one can not apply directly to the Universities(most of them). You need to apply through UCAS and the last date is 30 June. You have the provision of applying to 5 Universities and UCAS charges GBP 21 for it. I am currently a student of the Delhi Business School, So all and all I can just talk of the Delhi Business School both interms of rankings and placements.
The DBS was Ranked 16th amongst top 100 Best B-Schools with A+++ Rating by Just Careers Best B-School Survey December 2009.
Also The placements this year touched a highest of 12 Lakhs Package by the WWG group, which is a multinational.

Hi udit, there is no tier systme followed in Singapore. There only 3 local NAtional Unviersities in Singapore and these are : National University Singapore, Nanyang Technological Univ, Singapore MAnagement Univ.
The other Univ in Singapore are Aus and British. you will also find some Colleges or polytechnics that are local and private as well.
