Yes you can take Aerospace as engineering for M.Tech. Only procedure is to clear GATE Examination in Aerospace engineering.
Aerospace engineering is getting more hype these days because of advancement in the field. Government jobs are also there for Aerospace engineers. Also after completing your Masters you can go for doctrate degree in Aerospace or related fields. This will give you may opportunities.
It is good option you can opt.

Graduates of EEE can get jobs in Electrical Generation & Distribution companies of various type such as Thermal, Hydero , Nuclear, Solar or non conventional energy etc. EEE grad are also employed in Manufacturing & Services companies as Ops & Maintenance roles. Yes they will. Engineering, MBA, MBBS will continue to have scope in coming years. These fields will continue to serve needs of people in society. And as long as society is being served by these fields , there will be scope. Also fields like hotel management, pharmacy, mass communication, journalism will be in high demand in future.
