IRMA will be shortlisting and calling applicants in two ways:
1. Merit-based Calls: Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
2. Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile are: (I) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges, (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors; (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences
Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 IRMASAT 2019), Group Activity and Personal Interview. IRMASAT 2019, GA and PI process will be conducted at IRMA.

None of the branches in this entire world is easy. Every branch has its own fine art. And so is it with ECE, Mech and Civil. But in case you wish to choose among these 3, do try to assess your abilities and then see which branch has your match:
ECE: You will need certain abilities like-
Ability to visualize the electric circuits. Understand the concepts clearly and reason out the working. Programming. Yes, coding. You will need a good grasp on at least C, if not any other. You can learn the language in the first year, so just check whether you can code. Mech/Civil: You will need certain abilities like-
Clear and quick in calculations/mathematics. Visualization.
I may not be able to list all the required abilities. Do try to read articles on the internet. And you always have the first year to develop/enhance your missing skills!

While IRMA (www.irma.ac.in) was largely started with the objective of creating managers for the cooperative space (and as an extension for the rural development space), most students from IRMA are now joining rural management/marketing positions in corporates. Given that applicants come through CAT/XAT/GMAT, it is becoming more and more like a regular MBA institute.ISDM (www.isdm.org.in) has been established to develop managers and leaders for the broader development sector. It AIMS to create an entire ecosystem around development management and leadership in the country and outside. Faculty are largely people with a huge amount of social sector experience (leaders, academicians, researchers, professionals), the pedagogy supports the building of problem-solving and critical thinking skillsets and promotes teamwork/collaboration.

In my opinion, you should prefer studying BCA. BCA is a three-year undergraduate degree course which takes you through the basics of computer application. It provides a student with all the basic knowledge about computer and its system which is necessary in an IT firm. The BCA applicants who have earned their degree in India are getting some of the most desirable jobs in the foreign countries. There are various computer languages applications based research jobs that are bagged by the Indian candidates then there lies the core based computer research jobs that include applications of the computer language and the development of the same. The candidates also have various other kinds of job that are offered to them. Jobs such as research in the software fields are also a major hit.

Talking about academics, MBA is all about 75% self-learning and 25% academic learning. So, I don't think it really matters, because at the end, you need to study by your own and then your knowledge plays a crucial role. JBIMS has a very experienced faculty members and most of them are big shot industrialist. Before exposure and placement, your interest is important. All 3 institutes are at top in their field JBIMS is majorly known for finance, marketing is also good there. MICA is all about marketing and media & entertainment. I don't have much idea about XIMB. JBIMS is located in financial hub of the country which gives an extra benefits for finance aspirants. MICA has a good campus life and marketing exposure. To be fair to both the colleges and coming from a completely unbiased third person point of view, IMT has great placements for the top 30% of the batch.
Campus life at MICA is known to be better, for all the right reasons. There is more scope to explore extracurriculars and sports and the sense of community is much stronger. Learning is honestly to each his own, MICA's learning is known to be more stimulating and all-rounders, while IMT's learning is more MBA focused. Brand equity
IMT is a better-known brand than MICA, but MICA garners more respect in the industry by people who know about marketing and advertising, basically the insiders.
