First of all, Amit, let me assure that I have complete knowledge on the issue. Below CGPA grade is going to trouble you as far as campus placement and IT sector companies are concerned but as far as government, PSU and Defense jobs are concerned, there the minimum eligibility is 55% so, you are likely to qualify for entrance examinations. If you become serious and prepare well for these examinations, after completing your graduation, you have fair chances to have equal career as your fellow students.
As far as embedded system certification courses are concerned, if done from Sandipani, Bangalore or C-DAC, Delhi or Vedanta, Lucknow, can give you hands on experience and knowledge but merely based on these certifications, no organization offers career. There are approximately 500 VLSI design companies in India in private sector, who do not come to college campuses and neither advertise themselves but would welcome fresher students having good degree with embedded system and VHDL programming capabilities.
