LPU is definitely good for CSE but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same to get admission in LPU. UPES Scores are not considered by LPU. For admission in LPU you need 60% in class 12th with English, Physics and Maths and LPU NEST. Also, you get direct admission in LPU if you have 90% or above in Class 12th or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. LPU has laid down strict guidelines to keep the campus and its students safe from any health related issue. Some measures are:
1. Wearing of mask by all
2. Daily sanitation
3. Strict rules of movement
4. All the hostel rooms and buildings are sanitized and unnecessary movement of anyone is prohibited
5. No big gatherings
6. Thermal scanners
7. Distancing to be followed in sitting in class as well I. e leaving one seat and then next student will sit
8. Extending the timings of 9-5 so that there is no loss of class
9. Classes to be scheduled on weekends as well to avoid the loss
10. MOOC courses to be allotted to the student
11. Strength of class to be mellowed down. After coming to know these initiative, I was bit relaxed. Now, I believe my niece would be safe as I know LPU believes in delivering what it claims that it is doing.
12. University has a big in house hospital too for safety sake in case of any urgency
