Hello Arpit,
If you had taken maths as optional, then I think you can't change it and it is good for you. Maths really helps you in future. Just study well in free time and try to understand, maths instead of moving away from it. Maths really helps you in CA course.
All the best.

Yes, your decision is correct. It's good to do MBA rather than going for MCA. MCA is highly technical orientated and which is a further study of what you have learned in BCA classes. But MBA is not like that you will learn how to manage a company and you can also use the knowledge of BCA when required. In my opinion, you should go for MBA and do your higher studies and get placed in an IT firm. There, you can use both technical and managerial skills.

For pursuing CA you only need +2 level in academics. That is, you need to complete 10+2 first. This is for being able to give the entrance examination. Sit for Common Proficiency Course (CPT). Exams are conducted twice in a year, May and Nov. Once you pass you are enrolled as a Student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and on your way to a CA degree. Refer for detailed and step-by-step guides. All the best and you're always welcome for any doubts. :-).

Hello,
The IIT JAM exam was conducted for 7 subjects which is now held for the six subjects. There are different cutoff marks for various subjects. The candidates need to score more than minimum cut off marks. The cut off marks will be based on the number of students appearing for the IIT JAM exam, and the correct answer given by the candidates. The cut off marks for IIT JAM Chemistry varies from 24-30 for different years.
You should practice with previous year papers and mock test to be familiar with the paper pattern and type of questions asked in the exam. Hope it will help you. All the best.
