Look Ravi, having a legal background is not mandatory for anyone to pursue a legal education, its an open field for all and anyone can apply for these and as you asked about the best college so as per me government college is the best college but as you want that your son to go in legal field so is depends upon him to select which college he wants private or government. For government college, he has to appear in the entrance exam CLAT 2018 and form is available on its site but I insist you to first let him do practice and try next year for this exam for better marks. Hello!
Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-school anywhere in India where one can get admission with just 66 percentile in MAT. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time I.e. 2 years as well as money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for MAT (and/or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET.
Good luck!
