Hello Suchetana Sarkar, These days girls student or women in general have conquered almost all the fields. There is no branch of engineering which is anathema for a girl child. In almost all the branches of Engineering placements are quite good for girl children. Hence I would advise that whatever branch the girl child fascinates or likes she should be allowed to pursue that branch. Best wishes to her.

There is a scope in game designing. We all know that big gaming companies like Ea and Ubisoft have already set up shops in India. They are very aware that India is the next gaming market. Its just a matter of time when all other gaming companies come to India. Then, we will have a lot of opportunities in game designing and game development. Make sure you study 3-D animation.
