You have not mentioned anything about your state or what you are doing presently. For admission in engineering colleges, you have to appear and pass some or the other entrance exam. Marks in this exam will only decide your admission.

In order to pursue mass communication, you can take up the courses like:
BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication)
B.Sc MCAJ (Bachelors of Science in Mass communication and Journalism)
You can take up the following courses from the government and private institutes. Some of the best colleges that you can choose from are:

Admission decisions are made by the universities.No one can tell you if will get admissions but only ways how you can better the chances. Apply timely, your LOR and SOP will also be very important. A good application package is required. Take your IELTS if you haven't.

It depends on the university you're choosing, there are universities where you can get your MBA done just at 1 lakh or less and there are also the ones where the tuition fees for MBA is more than 15 lakhs.
