There are lots of different fields and courses available to build a career after 12th but according to my experience, there is lots of career scope in animation and VFX field. Animation and VFX is the biggest part of media and entertainment industry.
According to FICCI report, media and entertainment industry is growing at a fast pace.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is an association of business organisations in India.
The media and entertainment industry in India consists of many different segments under its folds such as television, print, and films, radio, music, OOH, animation, gaming and visual effects (VFX) and Internet advertising. You can work in all these segments.
In these segments, you just need an understanding of software skill, and tools of the industry, no further requirements.
As per the combined survey report by KMPG and FICCI, the entertainment industry in India is expected to expand by 12.5% every year and is likely to reach US$20.09 billion by the year 2013.
The industry is estimated to achieve growth of 13 percent in 2011 to touch US$16.2 billion. As the industry braces for exciting times ahead, the sector is projected to grow at a CAGR of 19 percent 2020 which is the highest growth as compare to other fields that means more income and jobs.
In MNCs like Pixar, Technicolor (Bangalore), Rhythm and Hues (Hyderabad), Red Chillies, Prime Focus, DQ entertainment, etc., salaries are more than software engineers.
If you are interested in this field, you can just join a professional career based course in the best institute, no degree or Diploma is required in this field because I have already mentioned that Animation and VFX depends on the creativity and software skills.
There are many colleges and institutions for animation in India. If you want to really choose the right place for this field focus on just a few things. These things are mentors (faculties), course content, career opportunities (placement), environment and equipment’s (labs). Only these things can make a brand and in India, there are just a few institutes who provide a quality education in the animation field.

A database management system is a computer software application that interacts with the user, other applications, and the database itself to capture and analyse data. A general-purpose DBMS is designed to allow the definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of databases. DBMS can be used to manage transactional databases, such as HR systems, banking systems and so on. Database administrators (DBAs) use specialised software to store and organise data. The role may include capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery. You can do Oracle DBA course and certification after 12th but the chances of getting a job in medium or large size jobs are very poor unless you complete minimum graduation degree such as BBA. It is my sincere advise to you to pursue graduation degree first, else you will face challenges and disappointments while searching for a job.

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) is a premier institution of Delhi University for Bachelor of Management Studies. Minimum required percentage for OBC is 54%, for SC& ST pass marks in qualifying examination, for PWD 55%, for CW 55%. Other conditions are same as for the general category.
(b) Science/commerce students who had mathematics and English as a subject in class 12th are eligible to apply.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is a core field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. EEE in the majority of universities is traditional Electrical engineering with few courses in Electronics. Electrical engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics, etc. Many of these sub-disciplines overlap and also overlap with other engineering branches, spanning a huge number of specialisations such as hardware engineering, power electronics, electromagnetics & waves, microwave engineering, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, renewable energies, mechatronics, electrical materials science, and much more
EEE engineers are employed in operations and maintenance roles in manufacturing and services industry. EEE engineers are also employed in electrical power generations such as atomic power plants, hydel or thermal power plants. EEE engineers are also employed in power distribution and services companies. Job opportunities for EEE engineers are available in both private and public sectors like railways, civil aviation, electricity board and utility companies, electrical design and consultancy firms. EEE engineers also employed in Electrical and Electronics goods manufacturing companies. EEE engineers can join Indian Engineering Services, DRDO, ISO, Defence and paramilitary forces also. EEE engineers are also employed in teaching and R&D besides working as an independent consultant.

Eligibility to appear in NET conducted by CBSE is as follows:
(a) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding-off) in Master's Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding-off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test
(b) Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Masters degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Junior Research Fellowship/eligibility for Assistant professor only after they have passed their Masters Degree examination OR equivalent with at least 55% marks(50% marks in case of OBC (Non- creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD (persons with disability) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their P.G degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
(c)The PhD degree holders whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (I.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
