IHM is great as it's central government. But, again, there are 4 departments in HM I.e. front office, food & beverage service, kitchen, housekeeping, etc. You will be getting industrial training in each department in the 2nd year of study for total 4 months. ln 3rd year, you need to choose your department.
Well, if you are actually interested about kitchen department, then I would like to suggest to go for any good culinary arts college rather than hotel management.
The best option for culinary arts is Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad. Go through their college website. It is the best culinary college in Asia.
