Free seat in self financed college is a myth. Some colleges do offer some sort of scholarships but that amount is never commensurate with expenses that you will have to incur.

Hello Hruday Kumar, yes you really have good chances to get admission at SASTRA University with a JEE score of 83 and 97.66% in board exams. You should apply through stream 1 in www.sastra.edu . The last date is June 10.
Also, you have a good chance to get electronics and communication engineering. It is a highly demanded course and there will be a lot of competition in that course. So try it anyway.
All the best!

I would suggest you to take BVP or UPES over Amity as Amity is not that upto the mark. Though you can opt for Amity-Noida as it is the only one which has decent faculty.

Hello Pavi,
Your marks are too low to get the top 10 colleges under Anna University.
You may get some other colleges which will not be better for aeronautical engineering. Choose the right college.
But, you can try your luck in counseling.
You can apply for counseling through www.annauniv.edu and the last date for registration is may 31 and the last date for submission is June 3.
The counseling starts from June 27.
All the best.

Manipal Institute of Technology is an institute to study aeronautical engineering. Placements are not very good although. Most companies need a higher level of knowledge and specialization for such an advanced field. So not many companies come for undergraduate students. The professors will always be willing you to help with internships in companies where you can build your own contacts and get a job.
