Flying Pilot is an excellent career option. There is a general shortage of trained and experienced Pilots worldwide. Majority of pilots requirement is in Asia Pacific region. Commercial Pilots are paid one of the best salaries in India with other perks.
Following are two options to become pilot in India
(a)Commercial Pilot: You can become Commercial Pilot by joining Pilot (Flying) training schools. Following are the basic eligibility criteria to become Commercial Pilot:
a. You should have completed the 10+2 years of education with physics, chemistry, maths as your major subjects.
b. You must have scored 50 percentage of marks in above mentioned education.
To become Commercial Pilot you need not be a graduate. But if you want to do graduation degree before joining a flying club, you may opt for B.Sc with Physics and or Maths as main subject.
(b) Flying Pilot in Indian Air Force. You can join Indian Air Force Flying branch by appearing for NDA after 12th board or CDS after Science graduation degree.

I have no idea about best government college in Punjab but LPU stands at top in private universities and is equally competent with other government colleges. Career choice is the most crucial decision for any student in their life. Before choosing any institute pleas make sure to have a deep research for the institute. Courses offered: Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab is a multi-faculty institution offering 145+ programmes in various fields such as engineering. Pharmacy, law, architecture, fine arts, management, etc. Placements: One of the best in the industry I would say. They leave no effort untried to help student to get the best placements. But worth mentioning. If you are aggressive and prepare well with the well-equipped environment by LPU your placement shall be a mouth agape. Fees: LPU provides several scholarships which are integral part of their fee structure. Therefore making it quite pocket friendly in comparison to other colleges.
