You have low chances of getting NIT. But you may get IIIT or any other GFIT. But first give preference to NIT. If you didn't get selected for the colleges you opt then choose alternative colleges such as IIIT and GFIT. All the best.

Not needed to give entrance exam for any certification course. You can directly get enrolled, given that the university doesn't have any entrance exam requirements for the subject.
