My suggestion is that you should visit the University and get knowledge on infrastructure for Journalism and Mass Communication. Their Career and Development Cell (CDC) takes care of placements. They will clear you better the process of placements.

Hello Hemkumar,
Your cut-off is really good. But it is difficult to get Mechanical or EEE at the main campus of Anna University if you belong to OC, BC etc. You can get it if you belong to SC or ST only. Hence you may try your best at th counseling to get the main campuses, or atleast the top colleges like PSG, SSN etc.

Yes, you can but you have to apply in lateral entry test in the application. Visit official website, go to the admission section and apply for lateral entry scheme. There you can get the information and the eligibility for the entry for the corresponding programme. Moreover, you need to have a CGPA higher than 6 or as per the cutoff.
