The eligibility criteria for MA Sanskrit may vary depending on the institute and the university that offers the course. However, some of the common requirements are :
You should have a bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
You should have studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects at the graduation level or have passed an equivalent examination in Sanskrit.
You should have a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate or in the subject of Sanskrit.
If you have scored 60% in KUK (Kurukshetra University), you may be eligible for MA Sanskrit as per the general criteria. However, you should also check if you have fulfilled the other requirements such as studying Sanskrit at the graduation level or passing an equivalent examination in Sanskrit.

First of all, you cannot get admission in IIEST Shibpur through WBJEE rank. It intakes students only through JEE Mains. Jadavpur is one of the best engineering colleges in whole India, so you have to get a very good rank to secure admission in it. The cutoffs for last year (after 3rd round) were:
