I don't know the ranking of Mahindra University, Hyderabad but I can share the same for LPU as I did my MBA from there and know LPU and its ranking well.
LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees.
Ranking:
1. Ranked 1st for Focus on Affordable and clean energy in India
2. Ranked 2nd for Decent Work and Economic Growth in India
3. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIRF ranking 2021. LPU is 12th in Architecture, 24th in Law and 23rd in Pharmacy, 37th in Business Management, 66th in Engineering, and 62nd in Universities across India.
4. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
5. It is among the top 20 Indian organizations that have filed the highest number of patents in India in the last 10 years including IIT Madras.
Management: I've visited many universities for conferences and workshops in my life, but if I talk about the management of all events, I will say LPU is best in managing everything whether it is related to academics or extracurricular activities.

1. M.com : The course is an extension to b.com and helps you gain a deeper insight into general functions of working of a business. Generally those who want to do research work undertake this course. An obvious progression would be to do an MPhil followed by a PhD depending on the level of expertise desired. Jobs available are teacher in schools and college.
On corporate side you have opportunity in finance department of corporate to work as an analyst, research work, consulting etc
2. CA : A CA can be pursued along with Under grads itself and need not necessarily be done post undergrads. This course help you develop level of expertise in Accounts, Tax, Audit & Assurance and Consulting. At the intermediate level one is required to do article ship where in one can get and insight into these departments thus align your job to your desire.Has a great prospect
3. CS : These are the people who ensure regulatory compliance of rules and regulations. Again like CA can be pursued alongwith grads and is relatively easier than CA
4. ICWA: Cost accountants who controls and manages cost of an organization
5. MBA: Its is a post graduation course that helps and individual to build himself in array of things such that his overall personality is enhanced and he can better manage an various functions of an organization and probably with time build an understanding to manage the entire organization. In a B-School one get n number of opportunities to explore his talents in various field. A budding entrepreneur get people with alike minds and thus get pursue his passion with similar people around him.
6. Law : With a little understanding of business law in b.com and individual can get a brief exposure to the subject and probabaly decide if he wants to pursue this or not

Hi ,It is a good thing that you want to prepare for civil service exam.
You can start your preparation from now ,continue your preparation with graduation.Civil service exam is not easy so you have to work hard
1. Firstly know the syllabus of the exam
2. Prepare with the best books & don't go for too many books
3. Know the exam pattern
Rather then this I can suggest you to keep other government as a back like you can also prepare for SSC CGL ,Railway exam & more because there is too much competition so you can think about it once.
