Hi,
At B.Sc level, one doesn't follow a single textbook like 12th class's maths NCERT book (I'm not counting the reference books because as far as I know CBSE doesn't mention them explicitly in the list of books to be followed during 12th). If you are doing mathematics (H) from a Delhi University college then in your first semester you will be having at least 4 subjects and for each subject there will be at least 23 books you will be asked to follow. Yes, work experience is sufficient for M.Sc. Many universities does not require work experience for M.Sc. programs. Your GMAT score is not a very high one, you can try to retake the GMAT if you feel you can improve, otherwise, apply with these scores. You can check the entry criteria first on websites of universities.

Applying for polytechnic course can be done in two methods, either through entrance test or by fulfilling basic eligibility criteria of the board/college. The minimum qualification required for admission into a Diploma course is passing 10th examination, with at least 35 percent in science and maths subjects. The state boards of technical education of most of the states in India conduct entrance tests for admission to the Diploma programmes offered by various polytechnics in the state.
