This forum is not for solving technical problems. To solve this query you may either ask your Physics teacher or else try out yourself using the equation v = u + at. Since the ball is going upwards so it is acting against the gravity and therefore you need to take the value of 'acceleration due to gravity' as negative. See if you are getting an answer to 20.4 m/s, check it with your physics teacher and form now onwards put only those questions n this forum for which it is meant.

if you are interested in computer line then you can do BCA after 12th or if you have science then you can do B tech in computer science , and for English speaking you can learn this yourself , make habit learn any 20 words per day and make some sentence from your daily life , this is very simple way because if you learn English speaking then after complete that course you forget all after some time but from this habit you learn more day by day , so purchase also a pocket dictionary

I fell surprise to see student asking which trade in engineering is good. . This placement and money system have destroyed the thinking of students . . . They only judge any stream with money placement and job. .

All streams are good and you can make a sound career if you will select your stream by your choice and interest rather than placement. . when you will select your career by seeing success rate then after completion you will start saying engineering is not good. . this is the main reason of engineering student becoming drug addict. . MAT is an aptitude based tests and contains questions which need logical reasoning. All questions need to be answered under extreme time pressure. therefore, it requires first to cover all the syllabus and then mock test solving under time pressure. Multiple rounds of such tests give reasonable chance of success with higher percentile. Therefore, minimum 6 months of preparation with 4-6 hours daily, would be good enough for any average plus student.
