The cutoff's for different branches are: Sector 62, CSE: 80k ECE: 130k IT: 1L Sector 128, CSE: 1.5L ECE: 3L.

Hello.If you really feel that your aptitude and interest lies in designing,browse the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad website and see if their M.Des in product design or furniture design etc. programs would connect to your needs. You can then prepare accordingly for similar programs.
As already suggested ,you can go for Interior designing course along with or after B.Tech.

Hello Laxmi,
Most of the Ph.D courses are for regular students. I am not sure which university is offering Ph.D through distance mode. You can search for the same online. If you want to make your career in political science then try to pursue your Ph.D in regular mode.
Lectureship is also a good option for the student who opted economics because Ph.D is mostly done for science subjects. If you want a good job after completing your PG then try to go for fellowship program in lectures and then think about Ph.D.
