SVNIT is the best for pursuing B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. The placement opportunities in NITs are the best in comparison to other Engineering Colleges. There are no benefits in admissions in PG courses after pursuing the B.Tech courses from NITs, because the admissions are based on GATE scores.

Not recommended college and also not featured in top 50B-schools. Placements do not seem impressive and neither is the brand value. Aim for top 50 B-schools.

Job opportunities are more in case of a B.Tech in comparison to B.Sc. Most of Engineering colleges have placement cells which increase chances of getting job whereas normal degree colleges do not have placement cells.
